Bringing knife through canadian customs?

im curently in france and i want to bring back a switchblade. not an otf just a medium sized lateral opening one, just wondering if customs scan for knives and even if they did if they could tell its a switchblade, i remember 3 years ago i brought back a erfly knife by accidentaly leaving it in my luggage so im pretty sure if i can get away with a erfly knife that i cqn get away with a switchblade
