I sat today at Social Security office and a woman was openly crying and no one?

did or said anything to her. Why and what is that all about? Everyone was so mad about how long they were waiting they ignored her. So sad. She was in the row behind me and was trying to conceal her tears. I wasn't sure what I was going to get. But I went and sat next to her and asked if she was OK. She was the greatest lady. Just lost her husband. An LVN nurse just trying to navigate it all. So sad. Why is it that people suck so much? That they will turn a blind eye to someone who is crying for cripes sake? And not even try to see if they can help?
