I have a kenmore elite calypso washer and its flashing the error code CE?

i was working then all the sudden made a sort of whining noise then i turned it off. when i went to turn it back on it wouldnt fill up or spin. can anyone tell me what is wrong with it and maybe how to fix it??? also could it be from using some borax powder in with the laundry soap? i usually only use the HE kind but needed a lil extra stain fighting boost. im scared i may have broke it. HELP
